Obey, Follow, Do
I Corinthians 9:24-27, Proverbs 3:5-6, II Peter 1:3-11, Colossians 3:17, Isaiah 40:31
The Lord does the impossible and unbelievable for His children. However, generally, he uses and works through the lives of believers. That is why we are told in the Bible that believers have all they need in the Lord. As God’s children, we are not to sit by and do nothing but live, speak and behave in obedience to the Bible. God then works through His children to do mysteries and wonders so that “all things work together for good, to them that love the Lord.” So, when we are up against life and do not know what to do, we should pray, obey and believe. Just as the Bible personalities Noah, David, Daniel, Joshua, Moses, Nehemiah, Paul, and the disciples obeyed and trusted God… even when it seemed impossible. As a follower of Christ, one must stay on the godly path, doing right and believing God. Then He will do what only He can and will do.
Prayer: God, give me strength and courage to continue doing all You direct me to do as I trust in Your Word.
