Trust the Lord

Psalms 73:28, Proverbs 3:5-6, Jeremiah 17:7-8, Isaiah 43:2, Hebrews 13:6

In a time and day of living and deception, it is difficult to trust anyone… even if it is in print.  Even the people one believes and trusts often speak untruth.  However, the believer can always trust the Lord and have firm confidence in the Bible.  The follower of Christ is often in darkness and trial but God has shown He is trustworthy.  So, when one is:

  • Discouraged - Ps. 77:1-13

  • Alone - Hebrews 13:5

  • Fearful - Ps. 34:4

  • Questioning - Hebrews 13:5 (and many other times)

The believer can to go the Lord and trust in His Word, the Bible.  God has His own timing and knows what’s best, but He is always to be trusted to meet our needs and fulfill His promises. Someone said long ago, “do not forget in the dark what you knew was true in the light.”  Yes, the Lord can be trusted in all situations to supply and do what is best for His children.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for always being trustworthy and true. Give me the strength and courage to trust You at all times.
