Pray Today

Jeremiah 29:11, I Thessalonians 5:16-18, I John 5:14, I Chronicles 16:11, Psalms 55:22, Philippians 4:4-7

Time is limited, the days quickly are gone, and the time that we had set aside for doing certain things is gone and this is often the case with prayer. A person thinks that prayer in the morning would be great and then they oversleep and spend the balance of the day in a hurry. Thinking they will pray at night often is forgotten as a person crawls into bed with hardly enough strength to pull up the covers and another day is over. Prayer has been neglected and forgotten, God has been placed on the list for tomorrow, and the enemy has won again as self-reliance has taken control. For prayer to be effective and powerful the believer must invest time to pray, remove distractions, read the Bible and give praise and thanksgiving to God. Yes, prayer does take time. A time that is set aside and well spent.

Prayer: Lord, guide me to schedule my life so I invest time to know and trust You in a greater way.
