Free But Costs

Proverbs 1:7, 3:19-20, 4:7-9, Romans 16:27, Isaiah 28:29, 40:28

There are many plans and pills that are advertised to give one great life and guidance, but they are all of this world (which is only temporary). It is through the “fear of the Lord” (respect, honor, and obedience) that one finds the answers to life and obtains guidance, protection, provision, and blessing. The blessings of God are free for the taking but one must believe, receive, and do His will. Of course, God does not expect one to be perfect but He does want one to obey. To accept and apply the word and ways of God one must:

• Believe on the Lord Jesus and accept Him as Lord and Savior

• Read and apply the Bible to life

• Pray for wisdom, strength, and direction

• Surrender all to the Lord

• Be a useable vessel in the hand of God

Yes, all the Lord offers is free for the taking but one must surrender all to Him and do His will.

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to better see Your will and way. Help m,e to live in obedience to Your Word in all areas of my life.
