Renewed

II Corinthians 4:16, Romans 12:2, I Samuel 16:7, Ephesians 3:16, Proverbs 23:7, Colossians 3:10

As a person ages, it is noted that the “outer person” loses some strength. However, as we are reminded often in scripture, the “inner person” is to be strengthened, renewed, and built up with the presence and power of God.  This building up of the “inner person” takes place when one:

  • Reads the Bible regularly

  • Prays often

  • Reviews and remembers how one has been blessed by God

  • Exercises faith

  • Trusts and obeys God in daily life

  • Sees God work and move in one’s life

Yes, the physical will, in time, wear out but the “inner person” can be built up and become stronger to endure that which comes to pass in life.  One should take appropriate care of the physical body but also they should read, pray, wait on the Lord, trust, and obey God to build up the “inner person”.

Prayer: Lord, I praise You for never leaving me and thank You for the strength You are to my “inner person” to live each day and be an honor to You and a blessing to others.
