Wait - Let God

Proverbs 20:2-24, 15:1, Ephesians 4:32, Romans 12:19, James 1:19-20, I Peter 3:9

Many troubles are caused when a person tries to get even or pay back a person for an injustice. Yet, scriptures remind one often that God sees, records, and will do what is the best.  When one determines to even out the score they usually get involved in saying and doing things that cause the problem to excel. Believers are to:

  • Set aside and stop all bitterness

  • Forgive others

  • Pray for others

  • Do good to even those who offend

  • Give God time to work

The unity of believers is often greatly stretched by the urgency of someone who is determined to make another person pay for something.  Yes, we should do our part in caring for the problem, but one must be careful to pray about the situation and the people involved so that God’s will may be done and said in all.

Prayer: God, open my spiritual eyes to see and know Your way in all of my relationships.
