Start Right

Lamentations 3:22-24, Philippians 4:4-7, Proverbs 3:5-6, l6:3, 27:23, I Corinthians 15:56-57, I Chronicles 6:11

A new year is before us and there is a long list of people we hope to encounter and projects that we hope to do.  However, unless one plan and works to get these things done, they will not be any further a year from now than where they are today.  So, the diligent followers of Christ would:

•  Pray for guidance and wisdom

• Thank God for all He has done

• Commit all these things to the Lord

• Obey the Word and ways of God

• Regularly check their path according to the timing and ways of God

It is not a magic trick to accomplish the assignments of God in one’s life. All this comes as one is diligent and obedient to the Bible and the leading of the Holy Spirit. The followers of Christ are “more than conquerors” in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom and perseverance in all Your assignments to me this year.
