Godly Wisdom

Psalms 92:5, l47:5, Romans 11:33, Isaiah 11;2, James 1:5, I Corinthians 1:25, Ephesians 1:17

Many times each day a person is given a way humans see or would do something as they search for wisdom and direction. However, often they discover that the wisdom, so-called, is wrong and brings more problems. It is only as one trust in the Lord and is obedient to the Word of God that they are at rest. Heavenly wisdom, as one obeys the Bible, is often far removed from what the world recommends as the enemy of God entices even believers to follow the wisdom of the world and a person becomes trapped in confusion and more problems. As Andrew Murray wrote many years ago, “the greatest tool of the enemy is deception.” So, one must be careful and obedient to the Bible and the leading of the Holy Spirit so they live, move and act in accordance with the Bible. And also so they do not get caught in earthly wisdom instead of living in the obedience to the Word.

Prayer: Lord, I wait before You to know Your wisdom in the matters I face this day to do Your will.
