The Great Key to Life
Proverbs 2:6, 3:5-6, 4:17, 6:16 Matthew 7:24, Romans 8:28, Ephesians 5:15-16, James 1:5, 3:17
Mankind is on a daily search for the wisdom to make wise decisions and choices. While people can do the most unusual things looking for wisdom, true wisdom and knowledge are only found in the Lord and His Word. Knowing the Lord as Savior and obeying the Bible gives one the great key to life. The wisdom, reserve, and power of God do not rid one of challenges and problems but in the Word, we are given instructions on how to make wise decisions in response. It has been said by many that “life is 10 percent what happens to us, and 90 percent how we choose to deal with it.” In the Bible, we are instructed on how to deal with forgiveness, bitterness, resentment, revenge, hurt, and things that happen in life, and as one obeys the Word they better understand God’s work in their life. So, one must be careful where they go for wisdom and who they consider wise.
Prayer: Lord, I praise You for the Bible and Your wisdom that empowers me to live each day even when life is difficult.
