Walking Carefully

Proverbs 4:5-12, Colossians 4:6, Proverbs 28:26, Ephesians 5:15, Psalms 23:1-6, Psalms 139:23-24

If one does not pay attention to where they are walking, it is easy to stumble and end up in trouble.  So it is with the way a person lives their life.  In the Bible, we find warnings and instructions so we will not stumble and get into problems. Yes, we do have problems in life but to live in the wisdom of God does give one safety even in problems.  One must be careful to seek the wisdom of God and anchor their life in the Bible to walk safely and carefully through this world.  For victory and blessings, one should be careful not to choose the path of those who ignore and reject the Lord. A trap of the enemy is to make worldly wisdom appear to be a good choice although it leads to regrets and problems.  It is essential that one’s life is saturated with the Word and that there is obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit each day.  As we read in Proverbs 4:18, “the path of the just as the shining light…” it is great wisdom and blessing that we walk in the light of God’s Word in every area of life.

Prayer: Lord, open the eyes of my soul to see any way that I am not walking in Your way and wisdom, and that I may change and be obedient to Your leading.
