Wisdom Today

There is a great search for wisdom today in all areas of life. Many things are tried and philosophies are followed to find wisdom.  In all this, it seems that many people are hoping someday they will have the unique wisdom they have spent all their lives searching for. Yet, they only discover it is an endless search, and each day passes by and becomes history.  It is the Biblically alert and obedient person that is really wise as they apply God’s Word and way to their lives each day.  It is not waiting for wisdom to finally come into one’s life but is the application of the Bible to everyday life each moment of the day.  It has been said that “the wise person is the practical, down-to-earth person who really knows what’s going on.”  God’s presence, power, and Word are to be experienced and applied today.

Prayer: Lord, open my mind to remember all I have been taught and know of Your presence and power and guide me to apply it all to my life today.
