It Does Make A Difference

Psalms 105:1-5, Colossians 3:1-2, I Thessalonians 5:18, Psalms 118:24, II Corinthians 10:5

Have you ever noticed how quickly the mind goes to troubles and problems? That is a great reason why one is instructed in the Word to give praise and thanksgiving to the Lord on a regular basis. Since the human mind is prone to focus on the difficulties and obstacles of life, it is vitally important that the mind is focused on the blessings and goodness of the Lord. God has greatly blessed us, even if we are in dark hours, with His presence, power, grace, strength, and wisdom on our side directing us to His will and way. It might be well now to invest a few minutes listing the blessings and provisions of God as this will bring joy and peace to the soul. A trap of the enemy is to get God’s children to focus on the challenges of the day and remove God from their life picture. If he succeeds, the believer is drawn off track to say and do things that are against God’s will.

Prayer: God, show and remind me of all the good things I have from Your hand that I would rejoice and be glad in your presence and power.
