Stay On It

Proverbs 4:22-27, John 14:6, Matthew 7:13, Proverbs 3:5-6, 27:12, Psalms 16:11

There are times in life when one must be careful to choose the right path. If they are not careful they may be soon headed down a path of life that brings consequences they never wished to experience. In Proverbs 27:12 we are reminded that “a prudent (wise) man foreseeth the evil and hideth himself, but the simple pass on, and are punished.” It is the wise and obedient believer that checks their path in life often. Choosing to obey and follow the Lord are vital keys to a life that is pleasing and honoring to the Lord. It is wise to check one’s life often in the way they:

  • Talk

  • Conduct their life

  • Spend their funds

  • Allow or put things into their mind

It will probably take a long time to get back on the right path so it is better to check one’s paths often and make changes if needed.

Prayer: Lord, help me to see the paths I am taking in life and that all I do is pleasing to You and honoring to Your Word.
