Take A Look

It is always exciting to look through the pictures of days gone by as one recalls how time quickly flees by and everyone grows up.  But more than the pictures in a book are the multitudes of memories that God has placed in the mind. With a few moments of reflection, one is in their childhood home, can hear their mother speaking, and can recall the delicious meals and great family times.  Yes, memories or all that God has blessed in one’s life bring refreshment and joy.  It is good to reflect on some of the many blessings of life as one is soon lifted to a new level of perseverance. However, this is often detoured as one sinks into depression and despair when one forgets the blessings and ways of God.  Take a few moments now and take a look and recall the memories of yesterday as you look through the pages of your mind to think how God has provided, blessed, protected, and lead.

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for the blessings and many memories of how You have moved in my life.
