Make A Joyful Noise

Psalms 96:1-3, 98:1-4, James 5:13, Philippians 4:4

Many times, even followers of Christ, are in the pit of despair and depression. In this “pit”, one focuses on the problems, challenges, pain, and hurts of daily life. Yet we are reminded in scriptures of the joy that comes as we trust in God. We have the great joy of “singing the song” of God’s presence, power, and provisions in our life. This singing can take a place as we rejoice in the Lord’s work and let others know how He has blessed our life. As the Apostle Paul reminds us in II Corinthians 12:9-10 how he rejoiced in the Lord and His grace (strength), so we can glory in our infirmities. People are looking for real peace which is only found in the Lord and it is our joy to share the blessings of God with others today. In sharing, it is our joy to “make a joyful noise” to the Lord. So, sing out today and direct others to the ways of the Lord.

Prayer: Take my life today Lord and use it to bring rejoicing and praise to Your name.
