We should be just as careful about how we live, act, respond, talk, and behave in ordinary life as we are concerned about how we look in the picture.  It is the Lord’s desire that we obey in every aspect and detail of life and not just obey when it is convenient or we know that others are watching.

We should be pleasing and obedient to God in our: 

  • Words (Psalm 19:14, Ephesians 4:29)

  • Thoughts (II Corinthians 10:5, Philippians 4:8)

  • Responses to others (Romans 12:9-10)

  • Conduct and behavior (Ephesians 4:1-3)

  • Attitude: Phil. 4:4-6

It has been said that many Christians connect with God and His Word at church and then disconnect when they leave to live as they please and without regard for the Bible.  The believer is a “new creature” in Christ, and this new life is to be lived out in every aspect of life and not just on Sunday.
