Listen To Right Voices
We have many examples in the Bible of people who listened to the wrong people, which led to wrong decisions, difficulty, and regret.
Aaron ended up leading in idol worship.
Lot moved into the sinful city.
Solomon went the ways of evil.
The Prodigal son ended up in the pig pen.
Early Christians were involved in disunity, conflicts, and problems.
We must be on guard and alert to any “voice” that would lead us away from Biblical truth. These ideas come to us through television, friends, books, magazines, news items, or society in general. In Corinthians 10:5 we are reminded to “bring every thought into the obedience of Christ.” Many live in deep regret because they listened to the wrong voices which opened the door to things they never imagined they would do.
Be careful! The enemy sets traps (Ephesians 6:10-12), and many times it all begins when one listens to the wrong voices.
