Check The Map Daily

As a person travels down an unknown road, they often check the map to make sure they are going in the right direction.  It is easy to get distracted and turn down a road that will not get you to the desired destination.  So it is in life.  It is of utmost importance to check the Bible for directions, guidelines, principles, warnings, and commands that keep one from being distracted and traveling down the wrong road.

We learn from the life accounts of Bible personalities as well as the clear commands and truths of Scripture.  It is vitally important to check our path each day to be sure our thoughts, desires, actions, words, motives, and choices are in line with God’s Word.  If we discover that we have been distracted and are traveling down the wrong road, God has provided the directions on what to do.  I John 1:9 says “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

It is of great wisdom and blessing to be following the Bible in every area of life and living.
