What You Plant

Galatians 6:7, Ecclesiastes 11:6, I Corinthians 3:7, Luke 18:11, Mark 4:26, I Corinthians 15:36, Psalms 126:5

Often people are not careful about what they do and say as they forget the results of their words and conduct will be felt in the future. As the farmer is careful about which seeds they plant and how many they sow, we must be cautious each day as we plant the seeds of life. It appears that many people do not account for the fact that the seeds will come up sometime. So, each day it is the wise and obedient servant of the Lord that plants the seeds of:

  • Kindness

  • Joy

  • Reliance on the Lord

  • Thankfulness

  • Helping others

  • Spiritual obedience to the Lord

God does not do magic in one’s life garden to override the wrong seeds and make different plants come up. Be careful, what is planted today in words and actions does have results and consequences.

Prayer: Lord, guide me this day to plant that which honors You and blesses others.
