Do All Things
Philippians 2:14, James 5:9, I Peter 2:8-10, I Corinthians 10:9-11, Hebrews 13:5-6
One of the things people do a lot is complain and murmur about life and the way things are going. Sadly, many cannot be asked, “how are you doing?” as they complain about their situation and problems. Some pray that all of their problems will go away which is not thought thru because in this life one will have tribulations and problems. Nowhere in the Bible are the followers of Christ promised they will have no problems. However, they are promised strength courage, the filling, and grace of the Lord to endure their problems. Often one is reminded in the Word to carefully select their words, and instead of murmuring and complaining… one should focus on the blessings of the Lord and His working in and through their life. As the believer lives, acts, talks, and conducts their life in obedience to the Bible, this shows their trust and confidence in the Lord.
Prayer: Lord, I do praise and thank You for the many rich blessings in my life and surrender my life to be a light in my world as to Your power, presence, and blessings.
