The Bible

As one travels down the road it is important that one follow the right directions to get to the desired location. So it is with life. If the Word of God is obeyed the person is kept on the right path and avoids evil. The life-instruction book, the Bible, provides wisdom, instructions, commands, and warnings to keep one on the path of righteousness. Therefore, it is critical to life that one:

• Reads the Bible

• Obeys the Bible

• Meditates on the teachings of the Bible

• Memorizes the Bible

• Shares the truths of God’s Word with others

As busy as one is today it is essential to invest time to be in the Bible. As we are reminded, a person said long ago, “the Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible.” So, read the Bible, invest time to examine your life according to Bible, and listen to the Holy Spirit to do what is needed to stay on the path of righteousness.

Prayer: Lord, as I read Your word today I am so thankful for Your instructions and wisdom. Guide me this day to stay on Your path of righteousness.
