His Grace
Psalms 55:22, Proverbs 3:5-6, I Peter 5:7, Matthew 11:28, Joshua 1:9, Philippians 4:6, James 1:5, II Corinthians 12:8-10
Often one causes great pain and problems in life as they seek to lift or carry a load that is too heavy for them to handle. Not only does this happen physically but spiritually as well. One lays awake at night worried, consumes their energy each day, and much more as problems and difficulties become the weight carried. As a follower of Christ, one has the joy to:
Bring their burdens to Him and leave them there
Trust in the Lord
Receive God’s grace for sustaining that which is before us
Wait for God to do His will and move as He knows best
Be strengthened as one does His will
Often, the burden is not lifted immediately for God is working in our lives and the lesson He is teaching takes more time than is desired. It is a great reminder that our Lord sustains, hears, and moves to make His children strong and a demonstration of His love to the world. As we read in Proverbs 3:5-6, trusting in the Lord brings relaxation and joy.
Prayer: Lord, it is in Your love and grace that I continue on today, praising and thanking You.
