Be Glad

Psalms 68:3-4, 11, 16, Philippians 4:7, Romans 15:13, John 16:24

Believers are to be glad and rejoice exceedingly in the Lord for all that He has done and is doing in their life. In this world of pain, suffering, and challenge it is those who know and follow God that has a heart of rejoicing to demonstrate the presence, power, and blessings of God in and on their life. This rejoicing gives hope and joy in times of challenges and problems. Each day our God brings out the sun to rule the day and the moon at night as well as caring for the flower in the woods as it demonstrates its beauty given by God. It is true that one does not have everything they desire in daily things but they rejoice in the presence of God in their life. As the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 68:19, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits…” The “daily benefits” bring great joy and rejoicing which is a visible demonstration of the presence and power of God in the believer’s life.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for all Your daily blessings in my life. Guide me to be glad and rejoice this day.
