A Child Of The King

II Corinthians 5:17, Luke 2:1-52, John 3:16 

We have many things for which to be thankful but the greatest is that our Lord came to this world to give of Himself and pay the price and redeem us from sin. His birth of a virgin, sinless life, death on the cross, and resurrection from the grave bring great joy and relief to everyone who believes. 

Gifts shower our life these days but the greatest gift is that our Lord gives new and meaningful life to all who believe in Him. Yes, a child of the King. Set free from the penalty and power of sin we have a new heart and a desire to serve and obey Him.  

The truth of all that God has done and will do for the one who believes is ours to enjoy and allow to flood our soul as we read the Word of God. What a great blessing to have the Bible and to know the Lord which makes the Word alive and powerful.
