Keep Going Today

Often we are faced with challenges that seem more than we can endure and we are tempted to give up. However, in the Bible we are encouraged by remembering the Lord will not leave us and He gives strength to those who wait on Him and trust in His power and timing. He has much for His children to learn and it is often in the crucible of troubles as one climbs the mountains of life that we see His will more clearly. The enemy, Satan, would like to see God’s children discouraged and even depressed to the point of giving up as this would bring reproach to God and His ways. So, stay at it and remember that the Lord:

• Is always near

• He hears and answers prayers

• Is all-powerful

• Works in mysterious ways and times

So, in the strength, grace, and power of the Lord tackle the “mountains” of this day.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for Your strength and grace to continue this day so I will be a light of Your presence in my world.
