Being stable and steadfast seems to be a great challenge many times as we go through life.  Every time one hears of world events they are likely to become anxious and depressed.  Recently there was an advertisement concerning a device to help one’s stability and balance.  Of course, there are some who need a device to help them maintain their needed balance.  However, there is much more to life and that is the stability of the soul and inner person.  We are reminded in Psalm 37:1-7 that the follower of Christ should:

  • Not fret

  • Trust God

  • Delight in the Bible

  • Commit their ways to the Lord

  • Wait for God to do His work

Prayer: Lord, the stability that You give my inner person is what I really need today.  Thank You for being my stability and solid rock on which I stand and build my life.
