Invest In Others Now

II Corinthians 9:7, Proverbs 11:25, Luke 6:38, Matthew 19:21

One of the great challenges that mankind faces is the focus on self and forgetting the needs of others. Selfishness and being self-centered are sins that believers must be careful to deal with as these practices often lead to paths of unrighteousness. It is not that the Lord desires His children should give up all their resources but it is essential to be open to the Holy Spirit’s leading to give to those in need. It is true that one is not to reach out to those in need for recognition, approval, or to get more but they are to be useable instruments in God’s hand and to demonstrate His love to those in need. Often people are only focused on their personal needs and what they want and overlook the great needs of others. A heart, mind, and life of investing in others are to be like Christ who gave Himself to save and change mankind. Investing in others brings great joy, blessing, and refreshment to the soul.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for all I have and lead me those whom You desire to help through me today.
