Planting Seeds Today
Colossians 3:17, 23, I Corinthians 3:6-7, Ecclesiastes 11:6, Galatians 6:7-8
The farmer diligently prepares the soil and then plants the seed. He never is concerned about something else coming up, for he has planted the seed of whatever he desired in the harvest. So, in daily life, one does each day as they “plant” seeds. The followers of Christ are to plant seeds of:
Kindness
Truth
Mercy
Care
Love
Peace
Heavenly wisdom…. to name a few
So, as we pass through many “fields” today it is the joy and responsibility of the believers to “plant seeds” that honor the Lord, help others, and demonstrate all Christ is doing in our life. Think now about the “seeds” you planted yesterday and the ones you will plant today. It is a great blessing that God cares for the harvest as we are faithful in planting the seeds.
Prayer: Lord, forgive me for not planting Your seeds yesterday and guide me today to do Your will in all things.
Project: Write out the specific seeds God wants you to plant today and commit yourself to His leading.
