Inner Strength

II Timothy 1:7, Philippians 4:13, Ecclesiastes 3:1-22, Colossians 1:11

Often it is in the challenges, troubles, and cares of life that one’s inner strength wains.  As the walls around crumble and our earth seems to shake the inner strength gives way.  It is with inner strength that the perspective changes and the spiritual eyes can see behind the current challenges.  It is as one:

  • Reads the Word carefully and obediently

  • Meditates in and on the Word and ways of God

  • Remembers the blessings of the Lord

  • Recalls the answers to prayer

  • Talks of the faithfulness of God

  • And listens to God-honoring music…

…that the inner strength is regained with the strengthened inner person focusing on God and being reminded of His ways. This gives courage and stamina to go on.  So, one must be cautious in the daily challenges of life to rely on the inner strength that only God gives.

Prayer: Lord, all mighty, thank You for Your care and sustaining in my inner person.
