Make The Right Choices

Psalm 1:1-3, Proverbs 3:5-6, James 1:5, II Timothy 3:16-17, Matthew 6:33, 7:24-29

Each day we make many choices and decisions. With some decisions, one has time to think about them, while others have to be made in a few moments. It is vitally important that a believer is reading and studying the Bible each day (along with prayer and obedience to God) so they have a firm foundation for making decisions that will honor the Lord and are best according to the Bible and the leading of the Holy Spirit. When a contractor starts to build he begins with a firm foundation as a poor foundation eventually costs a great problem in the future.  It is also very important to build one’s foundation for life on and in the Bible so they are prepared to make many decisions and choices.  It is essential for God’s blessings and power to live in obedience to the Word, and just as the foundation of a building takes time… so does building a Biblical foundation of life.  It is daily study, prayer, and obedience that prepares one for the many challenges of life.

Prayer: Lord, give me Your wisdom for all I decide and choose today.

Project: List the areas where you need God’s wisdom today.
