The Path of God

There are times when the path of God is not totally clear and a person does not know which way to go. Many believers cry out to the Lord in their time of need and trouble expecting a quick, clear, and powerful answer. However, it seems clear from the Bible that if one desires to know the path of the Lord, one should:

Daily read and meditate in and on the Bible
Live in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit
Pray daily to get to know the wisdom of God
Study the Bible to better know God and His ways
Be a useable instrument in the hand of God
Trust God in all ways

Although the path of God may not be totally clear one should live by the Bible and in obedience to the Lord. It is true that God does not always reveal the steps one should follow in advance, but He will show those who obey Him the way they should walk and what to do in His time and way.

Prayer: Thank You Lord that You know all about my life and I will do Your will while I wait to know the next step You would have me take.

Project: List the ways God is leading now to bring His ways to your attention.
