I Will

Psalms 9:1-2, II Chronicles 9:7, John 7:17, Joshua 24:15, Matthew 5:13-16, II Corinthians 4:7

Daily one commits to do certain things of which some are mandatory and others because they desire to do so.  The Psalmist reminds us in Psalm 9:1-2 that we should:

  • Give thanks to the Lord

  • Tell of His miracles

  • Anchor our joy in the Lord

  • Be glad in Him

  • Make music to praise the Lord

In a time of challenge and questions, it is imperative that believers focus on the Lord, His work, and ways.  In this way, one can be a “light in the dark world” and point many to trust and hope in the Lord.  If there was a time when the followers of Christ should be anchored in Him and sharing this truth with others, it is today.  As Dr. David Jeremiah is teaching now, “this could be the day.”

My declaration: Lord, I will praise You and give thanks for Your power and presence in my life so others may see You.
