Did You Tell Them

Philippians 4:7, Psalms 104:1-2, Romans 12:3-10, Ephesians 4:29

We need to be reminded daily not to take all we have for granted and assume we will always have family, friends, health, finances, etc. Often some or all of these blessings are gone overnight and even instantly. One does not need to be somber and pessimistic but it is vitally important that we thank the Lord and others for the many blessings that we enjoy each day. Recently I purchased a book entitled, I never saw that coming. So it is with many of the experiences and challenges of life. Therefore, it is important and vital that we:

  • Tell others of our love for them

  • Thank the Lord for His blessings

  • Enjoy the people and pleasures of today

  • Be content with what we have (only to suggest a few of the areas)

Yes, as many have said, “yesterday is gone forever and tomorrow may never come, so we must make the most of today.” It is true that many believers do not live as if they were thankful and contended with the ways of their Lord and thus turn their eyes from the Lord rather than to His love and forgiveness.

Prayer: Lord, guide me to make the most of this day and not take people and Your blessings for granted.

Project: List the people that God has reminded you of who need to hear from you today.
