Victory Over Fear
Psalms 23:4, 34:4, 55:22, Deuteronomy 31:6, Isaiah 41:13, John 14:27
Much heard and seen today often leaves a person in fear. This fear often drives a person into regret, sorrow, and bondage as they try to continue on in life under the “dark cloud” of fear. It is certainly wise to be cautious and sensitive concerning people and things that could bring hurt, regret, and bondage. However, the believer in Christ should not live in fear of people and things but trust God to:
Provide
Sustain
Direct
Protect
And much more as the eternal God is in control of all things and has promised to meet the needs of those who trust, obey and follow Him. Even though things happen that may cause one great concern and attention, the believer is reminded in the Bible that God knows the way and will give direction in all the ways of life. Therefore, we do not have to live in fear as we trust the ways of God.
Prayer: Thank You Lord for Your presence and power in my life.
Project: List the things and people that cause you to fear and then turn them over to God.
