Take Time
Proverbs 25:11, Hebrews 10:24-25, Romans 1:11-12, 15:2,5, I Thesselonians 5:11, Philippians 1:3
It is always encouraging and helpful when someone speaks words of thanks and gratitude to us. The words of blessing are good to hear and refresh the soul. However, we should be grateful and thankful to others as well. There are many people today that are lonely, discouraged, worried, and depressed. It is the joy of the believer to obey the Word and reach out to those in need and give them words that refresh the soul as one:
Encourages them in time of trial
Thanks them when it seems no one cares
Helps the needy
Reminds others of the blessings of God
And other ways that one can speak words that are uplifting and encouraging. Just set aside time, ask the Lord for directions and He will guide you to people that need words of encouragement and joy.
Prayer: Thank You for all You have done for me Lord. Bring to my mind now those You would have me share with today.
Project: List names of those as God directs and plan how and when you will minister to them.
