Rejoice Always
Philippians 4:4, Romans 12:12, Isaiah 61:10, Habakkuk 3:8, James 1:2, Psalms 32:11
The Apostle Paul instructs the believers to “rejoice in the Lord always”. This is one of the ways the believer can be a light in the dark world (Matthew 5:13-16). However, with pain, troubles, problems, and challenges one ask questions how they can rejoice. Until they remind themselves that they can rejoice in the Lord:
For He has paid the price for their sins. Romans 6:23
For He conquered death and the grave. Matthew 28:5-6
For He hears and answers prayers. Matthew 7:7
For He guides and gives wisdom. Proverbs 3:5-6
For He is preparing a place in heaven for His own. John 14:1-4
For He is coming again. II Peter 3:10
And many other reasons why God’s children should rejoice. So, even in times of trouble, problems, questions and challenge the followers of Christ can and should “rejoice’ and demonstrate to the world their confidence and trust in the eternal God.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the many blessings You have showered on my life and Lord I will rejoice.
Project: List some areas on your mind now that bring rejoicing to your heart.
