Feed on His Faithfulness

Psalms 37:1-11, Deuteronomy 32:4, Psamls 33:4, Isaiah 25:1, Lamentations 3:23-24

Often a person is reminded that they “are what they eat.” So, for a few days or weeks, they are careful to eat what is considered the right foods.  It is wise to be careful what one eats, but it is also important and wise as to what one puts into their mind and heart.  The Psalmist reminds us in chapter thirty-seven verse four that the follower of God should “feed on His faithfulness.”  As a person feeds on the faithfulness of God they:

  • Thank God for saving them by sending Jesus Christ to pay for their sins

  • Praise God for His many blessings

  • Thank God for those who have invested in their life in various ways

  • Thank God for protection, provisions, and much more

A good thing for believers to do is regularly, if not daily, check and consider who and what they are feeding their mind, heart, and life.

Prayer: Lord, I praise and thank You for all that You have done and are doing in my life.
