Most Important

Matthew 22:37-40, John 13:34-35, Luke 6:38, Matthew 7:12, James 2:8

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to literally walk down the road with Jesus and talk with Him?  One might hear Him ask the question about who and what is the most important in life?  Instead of making a name for oneself, or having a long list of possessions, He said that “one should love the Lord… and others.”  Today, the follower of Christ must be careful not to get drawn into the affairs of the world and replace God as number one in their life (and in doing so, others and serving them are not really important).  What or who is most important in life can easily be seen by where one invests their time, money, and life.  One does not quit their job and read the Bible all day, but God is first place in their life.  So, what or who is first and most important to you?

Prayer: Lord, forgive me for not keeping You first in my life and guide me to love others today as You desire.
