Choices

Joshua 4:15, Psalms 37:23-24, Proverbs 3:5-6, 16:3, Romans 8:5-6

Each day a person makes many choices and decisions. Some of the matters are given detailed thought and others are made in a moment. As has been said before, “all choices have consequences or results.”

So, one should:

• Pray about the choice

• Get counsel if needed

• Determine if this is a wise choice

• Determine if the choice brings honor to the Lord

• Determine if the choice will help one live more godly

All of these, and more, are things one should consider before making the choice for many lives are affected by choices and people are watching to determine if one lives out the truths of the Bible in the everyday events of life.

Prayer: Oh Lord, give me wisdom and direction as I go through life today that the choices I make will bring honor to Your name and draw others to the saving knowledge of Christ.
