Be Obedient
I Samuel 15:19, 22, II Kings 5:10-11, Deuteronomy 11:1, John 15:14, II John 1:6
Being obedient to the Bible and the leading of God is the great key to having victory, blessings, release, cleansing, answered prayers, peace and much more that God brings about in the life of the obedient believer. One must be careful that they are only content with “partial” obedience as they do some of what God moves in their inner person to do. Complete and immediate obedience is often hindered by the following:
The refusal to admit sin and wrong
The fear of what others may think and say
The fear of possible consequences
Pretended for so long that admitting the truth holds one back
For God’s blessings in life, the believer must be in “complete obedience”.
Prayer: God, thank You for forgiving and setting me free to obey You in every area of my life.
Project: List the areas that God is bringing to mind now and determine what must be done to “completely” obey the leading of God.
