Don’t Be Derailed
Ephesians 6:10-18, Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 3:5-6, Joshua 7:20-21, Ecclesiastes 10:1
It is imperative that a believer stays in the Bible and seeks to obey the Lord and be useful in God’s hand. Sadly to say, there are believers who let their time in the Bible and with the Lord slip out of life and eventually they are “derailed”. During the time when a person is “derailed” often they do and say tings that have a lasting effect and for which they live in regret. Yes, God forgives and gives victory even when one is derailed. However, there are consequences with each choice and it is imperative to guard one’s mind and life lest they are “derailed” from obeying and following the Lord. It is true that the greater spiritual impact a person seeks to make and help others, the more Satan wishes and tries to “derail” that person. So, stay in the Bible, pray, and live in the moment-by-moment obedience to the Lord. Remember that, “nothing is impossible with God”. (Luke 1:37)
Prayer. Lord, thank You for strength, wisdom and courage to continue doing Your will.
