Make It Count

Colossians 3:1-2, I Thessalonians 5:18, Romans 8:28, Proverbs 25:11 Philippians 4:5, Psalms 90:12

Another day is in your care. Often we are told that “there is a better day ahead” or “just wait” and there will be other days ahead. However, we must remember that “today” is the only one we have and we should be very thoughtful, careful and obedient in the use of our time. We must never forget that we just have one day at a time and at God’s timing our days will be over (Ecclesiastes 9:10). Therefore, the follower of Christ must:

• Commit all to God - Proverbs 16:3

• Pray for God’s wisdom daily - James 1:5

• Be obedient in every area of life - I Samuel 15:22

• Trust and serve God - Psalms 90:12

• Share the Good News in word and action - Mark 16:15

We must remember that the sun does not always shine and the pains of the physical body increase but God is always the same (Hebrews 13:8). God has a great plan for today so follow Him and do His will so that one does His desires and He will bring joy to the soul.

Prayer: God, give me wisdom, courage, strength and a heart to do all You desire this day.
