All You Need

II Peter 1:1-3, Colossians 2:9-10, Romans 6:6, I Peter 2:9, Galatians 3:27-28, Philippians 2:13

Many people give a lifetime to searching for things that will make them happy only to discover that these “things” are only temporary and soon they are searching again. However, the followers of Christ have “all that they need” in Him and in His Word, the Bible. Yes, we are to search the scriptures to learn more about Him and His ways, but all that we need is Him. Our Lord meets needs, answers prayer, protects, gives wisdom and direction, and much more. Yes, all we “need” we have found in Him. Stop now and list all you have in the Lord and rejoice (Philippians 4:7). It is a great joy to introduce Christ to others as He alone can and will be all they need as well. As the believer lives out this truth-He is all we need-others are drawn to Him and He meets their needs (Matthew 5:13-16).

Prayer: Thank You Lord for being all I need. Please guide me to live this truth today.
