God Works

Exodus 23:29-30, John 6:28-29, Psalms 74:12, Philippians 1:6, 2:13, Ephesians 2:4-5

As individuals, we do much of what we do in a hurry to get the job done and move on to the next challenges. However, we quickly discover that in many cases, this is not well as the event begins to untangle because it was done in such a hurry. God, however (as we are reminded in the Bible) knows all things and is always working. Even when it seems that nothing is happening, God is working and moving a “little at a time”.  It is in these times that the sensitive and obedient believer:

  • Sees and learns the lessons of God

  • Understands areas in their life that need changing

  • Sees the needs of others

  • Responds in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit

So, it is in the questions and times when it seems as if God is not moving that He has great lessons for us and He knows the best timing in our life.

Prayer: Lord, help me to see and know the lessons You have for me now.

Project: List the lessons God is bringing to your attention now and what needs to be done at this time.
