In starting a new day it is refreshing to “rejoice in the Lord.” There are many blessings and reasons to rejoice and one’s mind (heart) is then set in the right direction. It is true there are challenges and problems from yesterday and there will undoubtedly be more today. Therefore, it is good that one invests time to adjust and set the mind on the blessings and person of God. We have heard people ask, “did you get up on the wrong side of the bed” referring to the attitude and responses of a person. So, it is good and helpful to set one’s mind on the Lord and His working in life since we always need divine intervention and the leading of the Spirit each day. Take a few moments now and “set” your mind on the Lord, His presence, promises, power, and all He has done in your life.
Prayer: Lord, I praise and thank You for the multitude of blessings and ask that Your love and power be seen in me today.
