There are all kinds of gimmicks and plans for one to use in order to have a better life. However, the Bible is one’s instruction manual to really have a meaningful and effective life. In the Word of God one is guided on how to:

  • Change their heart and life. John 3:15-16

  • Live in obedience to the Lord. Proverbs 1:7

  • Not let sin stay in the life. Romans 6:11-12

  • Memorize and keep the Bible in your mind and life. Psalm 119:11

  • Honor the Lord. Colossians 3:17

  • Be a light in the dark (sinful) world. Matthew 5:13-16

  • Tell others about the Lord and what He has done for them. I Peter 3:15

  • Serve the Lord by helping others. II Corinthians 9:6-7

  • Keep clean. II Timothy 2:2

  • Live and respond in daily life. Ephesians 4

So, follow the instruction manual that God has given for an effective, meaningful life and rewards in heaven.

Prayer: God, help me to see more clearly how to obey Your Word.

Project: These are the areas I must adjust or change in my life to live God’s way.
