We are trained to work things out and make what we want to happen. So, we try all sorts of schemes and plans to get the results we are looking for. However, in the scriptures, we are instructed to “trust God”. The closer one gets to the Lord in fellowship and obedience, the more they can and will trust Him to do what even seems impossible. In the Bible, we are shown how God can do the impossible such as:

Quieting the storm
Parting the waters
Feeding the hungry
Healing the sick
Caring for the needy

We see the mighty hand of God to do what seems impossible to us. Just as we feed our bodies the right food, we need to feed our spiritual inner person the great truth of trusting God so we can live more in His presence.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the fears that often face me today. I praise You for working in my life so that my trust in You is increased.
