Proverbs 19:17, Philippians 1:12-13, Colossians 3:17, 23, II Corinthians 5:17, Matthew 5:13-16

A person demonstrates in conduct that which they are part of. A fireman conducts themselves accordingly, an officer of the Law does the same, and even the clerk in the grocery store shows their concern for the shoppers by lifting and going a few extra steps to help. So, a believer in Christ, is to “work out their salvation” showing they have been changed by the power of Christ as they demonstrate the love and work of Christ for:

• The believer speaks differently than the world.

• The believer acts differently than the world

• The believer behaves differently

• The believer responds differently from the world

That is the beliver has been changed by the power of Christ so their life is to show His love, mercy, forgiveness and new life. They would help the poor, give to others, care for those in need and reach out to help others.

Prayer: Open my spiritual eyes to see people in need now in my world.
