Another Gift

James 1:17, I John 4:12, Psalms 16:8, Isaiah 26:3, Proverbs 3:5, Matthew 6:33

Today is another gift from God and He has prepared exciting things for you to experience and lessons for you to learn. Often one becomes so involved in yesterday’s challenges that their focus is on the problems, and the lessons and work of God are not seen. Someone has said, “If you’ve acquired the unfortunate habit of looking for problems instead of possibilities, you’ll find that troubles have a way of turning up in unexpected places too. Since you are likely to find what you’re looking for, why not look for opportunities.” Our Lord desires that we know and follow Him in all ways. He has planned many opportunities today for us to demonstrate His goodness, love, and power to the needy people around us. So, don’t throw away this gift of today for worries and frustration. Remember, what the Bible teaches in I Corinthians 2:9.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for this wonderful gift of today and for the many opportunities You will give me today.
