Giants

I Samuel 17:3-4,8,12, 45-46,50, Joshua 1:9, Psalms 27:1, Isaiah 41:10, II Corinthians 4:8-9, Philippians 4:12-13, Proverbs 3:5-6

It is probably true that one will not find themselves in a valley looking at a giant of a man who has threatened to kill them. However, we are regularly faced with challenges in life that are “giants” and have the power to ruin one’s influence and joy. The believer in Christ must remember that their Lord is more powerful than any enemy and He will move in the obedient believer to overcome the “giant”.  As the child of God focuses on God and invests time to worship and praise Him, God does in the heart (inner person) what only He can do to encourage and give strength to His own.  So today, take your focus off the “giant” in your life and set your focus on your God that has overcome and will give strength, courage, power, and joy to His own as they trust Him.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the strength and courage that you give to me so I can be all You desire today.
